A chieftain of All Progressives Congress, APC, in Delta State, Mr. Benjamin Okiemute, has commended the leaders and members of the party in Isoko for the peaceful and successful ward congress in Isokoland.

In a statement yesterday, the former member of Delta State House of Assembly, who represented Isoko South Constituency 2, also congratulated all APC ward chairmen and executives in Isoko local government areas.

He said “The APC ward congress was peaceful and successful in both Isoko South and Isoko North Local Government Areas. I commend party faithful for their active participation and being peaceful at the congress.”

The former lawmaker urged APC faithful and supporters in Isoko to remain peaceful, law abiding and charged the newly elected ward executives to be steadfast, diligent and committed to the growth and development of the party ahead of the 2019 general elections.

“I am grateful to APC leaders and members over the outcome of the ward congress. It clearly shows that the party has repositioned itself to take over power in 2019. Moreover, the people of Isoko are really preparing for the forthcoming general elections”.
